An Advanced Certified Infant Massage Teacher (CIMT® II) is not only an instructor, but also a parent educator who teaches the amazing art of infant massage to parents or caregivers in the presence of their babies.

Having an advanced certification with the proper foundation and evidence-informed education gives the CIMT® knowledge for adapting lessons and parental guidance to safely and effectively provide touch therapy for their child.

With the advanced course, you will have comprehensive knowledge to expand your infant massage education, lessons and classes to support families who have infants with special healthcare circumstances.

The Advanced Certification | CIMT® II | Special Healthcare

Allows the CIMT® II to teach parents and caregivers infant massage during individual or group sessions.

Allows the CIMT® II to give presentations, lectures, and talks on Infant Massage to professional groups and parents/caregivers.

Provides the CIMT® II with background and information to provide infant massage instruction for child with special healthcare needs.

Does not allow the CIMT® II to train or certify others to be teachers of infant massage.

Does not allow the CIMT® II to offer any type of continuing education units and continuation hours.

Does not provide the CIMT® II with hands-on certification, you may not provide massage for infants with this certification.
